We wanted to let you know how important high quality water is to your coolant system and the life of your head rebuild.  Contrary to the OEMs instructions, distilled water from your local grocery store is NOT A GOOD CHOICE.  This water is not pure enough.  We have found floating matter in bottles we have obtained from our local store.  You should use reagent grade water.  This water is usually produced by serial reverse osmosis, multiple charcoal filtration, multiple de-ionization, and .25 micron filtration.  Doctors may be able to obtain a few liters from their local hospital (lab) where they are on staff.  Lab personnel will usually respond positively to a polite request.  Be sure to take a container that does not contain plasticizers or residue.  Rinse the container several times with the high quality water before use.
